Last month my 'wee' (he's actually a big strapping lad of 6'5") brother got hitched and he couldn't have found a girl more perfect for him. That's Rachael :-) It was a pretty full on couple of days with having just completed the Islay wedding flowers the night before then taking the plane to East Midlands where Scott was there to swoop me back to my flowery workroom........Rachael's parents garage! I was met with a sea of blooms and in between bridesmaid dress fittings and with some help from friends and family we managed to put together a flowery feast, just in time. Rachael had a beautiful colour palette in mind and like herself she wanted a natural look. The ceremony was held in the beautiful 800 year old chapel of St John's in Corby, Northampton, where Rachael's twin sister and parents were married before her. I was honoured to be one of her three bridesmaids and found myself making the last of the buttonholes when having my hair styled!
It was a truly spectacular day made so very special by the love between Scott and Rachael. A few happy tears were shed and I am so glad that my lovely brother found such a special girl.
Thanks so much to Dave for sharing his garage with me and the fleurs and to Lynn for minding and taking care of every stem and plant in the run up to the day......I couldn't have done it without you!
Thanks to Hannah Hall for capturing the day so beautifully in all of the following images.
Congratulations Scotty and Rachey! You guys are the best xx
